Virtual Hire Staffing is seeking a Planning Manager to lead production planning, scheduling, materials planning, and inventory control for a fast-paced manufacturing operation in New Jersey. You will align customer demand with capacity and material availability across sites, driving improvements in planning accuracy and inventory performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production planning, materials planning or inventory control in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory management.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (JD Edwards a plus).
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills; ability to interpret production data.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and execute production plans and schedules.
• Forecast production and material requirements based on demand, history and capacity.
• Manage raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory to targets.
• Coordinate planning and material forecasting across multiple plants.
• Issue and maintain Manufacturing Orders, Bills of Materials and routings.
• Maintain planning parameters in the ERP/MRP system.
• Lead cycle counts and physical inventory and drive corrective actions.
• Lead production planning meetings and flag delays or shortages early.
• Build planning reports and KPIs, including Hyperion reporting.
