Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking an Associate Production Planner in Puerto Rico to support production planning and scheduling, ensuring material availability and inventory alignment with demand.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Industrial or Computer Engineering, knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, and strong Excel data analysis skills. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus. This onsite position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Computer Engineering is required.
• Internship, co-op, or project experience in production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing ops is preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP, ERP systems, and production scheduling processes.
• Experience using Excel for data analysis, reporting, and planning activities.
• Knowledge of inventory control, demand planning, and supply chain processes in manufacturing.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve planning challenges.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Basic computer programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and direct material requirements.
• Advises management on work in progress, material availability, and inventory levels.
• Schedules equipment and personnel; prepares work orders or purchase requests based on master schedule.
• Coordinates interdepartmental activity and expedites movement of parts via moves and transfers.
