Job summary

Quality Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a motivated professional to join our team in Puerto Rico/USA. You will plan, prepare, issue and control production schedules, coordinating with QA, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering to meet production requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in Finance, Business Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field, with strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a required field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to speak, write, and understand English.
  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Business Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field (1+ year with a master's degree).
  • Ability to meet production goals and performance targets.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Experience with Work Orders and production-related documentation.
  • Shift: 1st shift (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities

  • Plans and controls production schedules to meet requirements.
  • Advises management on work in progress, material availability, and production disruptions.
  • Prepares work orders or purchase requests based on master production schedules.
  • Coordinates interdepartmental activities with QA, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering.
  • Expedites movement of parts via move orders and stock transfers.

Job description

In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.

Responsibilities
  • Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and directs material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of raw and approved finished goods materials timed to meet production requirements.
  • Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, inventory levels, and potential production or material supply disruptions to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided on-time and at an optimal cost.
  • Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
  • Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, demand planning, etc.
  • Schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in required field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to speak, write, and understand English to comply with written procedures, work instructions, SOPs, and other documentation.
  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Business Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field (1+ year with a master's degree).
  • Ability to meet and achieve production goals and performance targets.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Experience with Work Orders and production-related documentation.
