Job summary

Medtronic in Villalba, Puerto Rico is seeking an Associate Production Planner to support production scheduling, material availability, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time manufacturing.

You will coordinate master production schedules, advise on inventory levels, and work with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing and Logistics to maintain a reliable flow of materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Computer Engineering is required.
• 0 years of experience is acceptable for this entry‑level role.
• Familiarity with MRP, ERP, and production scheduling processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and directs material requirements to ensure timely materials.
• Advises management on status of work in progress, inventory levels, and potential disruptions to ensure on‑time production.
• Schedules equipment and personnel, prepares work orders based on a master production schedule and inventory needs.
• Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, and logistics.
