Job summary

Quality Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a production scheduler. You will develop and control production schedules, manage material requirements, and coordinate with QA, manufacturing, and purchasing to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in relevant fields, with strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. You will work with ERP/MRP systems and support in English across the US and Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to speak, write, and understand English to comply with procedures.
  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Business Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field (1+ year with a master's).
  • Ability to meet production goals and targets.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and directs material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of raw and finished goods materials timed to meet production requirements.
  • Advises management of work in progress, material availability, inventory levels, and potential production or material supply disruptions to ensure on-time and cost optimization.
  • Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for production or components based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
  • Coordinates interdepartmental activity with QA, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, demand planning, etc.
  • Schedules and expedites movement of parts by move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests.

Responsibilities
  • Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and directs material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of raw and approved finished goods materials timed to meet production requirements.
  • Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, inventory levels, and potential production or material supply disruptions to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided on-time and at an optimal cost.
  • Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
  • Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, demand planning, etc.
  • Schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in required field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to speak, write, and understand English to comply with written procedures, work instructions, SOPs, and other documentation.
  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Business Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field (1+ year with a master's degree).
  • Ability to meet and achieve production goals and performance targets.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Experience with Work Orders and production-related documentation.
  • Shift: 1st shift (40 hours per week)
