Job summary

Talent HRizon and client seek an experienced Production Planner to lead planning, scheduling, forecasting, and data validation across the plant. This onsite role partners with Supply Chain, Production, Operations, Procurement, and Finance to ensure plans are executable and aligned with demand, capacity, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related analytical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of production planning, demand planning, manufacturing planning, or closely related manufacturing experience.
• Experience developing and managing production schedules within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of demand planning, forecasting, work orders, material requirements, inventory, and capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate production schedules based on demand, forecasts, inventory, and capacity.
• Analyze demand forecasts and translate them into executable production plans.
• Review and validate ERP-generated planning and work-order recommendations for feasibility.
• Identify risks and constraints before they affect production or delivery.
