Job summary

B.E. Meyers in Redmond, WA seeks a Production Manager to oversee and improve the production process, reduce costs, and ensure timely, quality product delivery. You will guide a team, develop SOPs, and work with engineering to optimize equipment and processes.

Responsibilities include setting performance standards, conducting annual reviews, sustaining lean initiatives, and maintaining operations within budgets while ensuring customer satisfaction and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent plus 3–5 years supervisory experience is expected.
• Experience with basic production technologies, soldering, electro-optical-mechanical assembly and test is a plus.
• Experience with MIL-STD-461F, MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-882 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
• Write and deliver annual performance reviews and recommend merit increases.
• Motivate and develop team members.
• Enforce company policies and procedures and audit compliance.
• Identify and communicate problems early to minimize production impact.
• Plan for changes in production demand and ensure headcount is appropriate.
• Ensure operations follow written procedures and standards; develop SOPs for functions.
• Review production and operating reports and resolve problems to minimize costs and delays.
• Collaborate with engineering to modify machines for quality improvements.
• Develop and observe safe, compliant working practices.
• Compile, store, interpret and present data to all levels; provide KPI reports.
• Support growth strategies and ensure customer satisfaction with on-time deliveries.
