Job summary

MITER Brands in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Production Manager to lead plant operations, drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and optimize safety, quality, and delivery performance. The role requires experienced leadership to guide multi-line production teams in a fast-paced facility.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to implement strategic plans, manage budgets, and ensure on-time delivery while advancing continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage all production operations to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals.
• Develop and execute strategic manufacturing plans for growth and capacity.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S for continuous improvement.
• Establish KPIs and use data to drive corrective actions and plant performance.
• Lead cross-functional teams with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality, downtime, and cost objectives.
• Drive labor efficiency, material use, and inventory control.
• Mentor supervisors and develop frontline leaders.
• Plan long-range operational strategies and capital projects.
• Ensure on-time delivery and respond to demand changes.
