Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking a Production Engineer for a 12-month onsite assignment in Princeton, IN. The role focuses on project planning and implementation for new model and capital projects to improve safety, quality, productivity and cost targets.

You will report to the Production Engineering Manager and collaborate with internal teams to drive layout analysis, equipment studies, and technology initiatives from concept to launch, enhancing plant competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and shutdowns to support tooling modifications and installations.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Self-starting individual with ability to stay task focused and meet KPIs related to project requirements.
• Project experience in new model development related to capital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support early project planning and impact analysis.
• Conduct layout analysis focusing on new model impacts and plant optimization.
• Perform equipment impact studies for production shops and identify change requirements.
• Lead process design, equipment procurement, and installation through to commissioning.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external groups to ensure successful project execution.
