Advantage Technical seeks a Manufacturing Engineer focused on body weld tooling, robotics, and equipment projects at a leading automotive manufacturing facility in Princeton, IN. This contract role supports manufacturing processes, equipment installation, production trials, and new equipment launches.

You will develop process plans, coordinate procurement, and assist with equipment trials and launches while traveling ~10% and potentially working occasional weekends or shutdowns.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of automotive or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Exposure to welding, tooling, jigs, fixtures, robotics, or automated manufacturing equipment.
• CAD modeling experience; CATIA is preferred.
• Experience supporting equipment installation, procurement, or new product launches is a plus.
• Ability to travel ~10% domestically and support weekend/shutdown activities.

Aufgaben

• Develop manufacturing process plans and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate tooling and equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Support equipment trials, production launches, and process improvements.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues and propose corrective actions.
• Track project schedules, costs, and equipment readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and equipment suppliers to support operations.
