Job summary

Tecknomic LLC is seeking a Body Equipment Engineer in Princeton, IN for 100% onsite work. You will handle process planning, machine specification, and procurement for body tooling and equipment, including installation and trials.

The role requires hands-on automotive experience, robotics/AGV familiarity, and ability to manage schedules and budgets. Responsibilities include leading projects, coordinating tool installations, and supporting launches with quality improvement and cost reduction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 1–2 years hands-on automotive/manufacturing engineering experience
• 1–2 years of robotics and AGV experience

Responsibilities

• Perform process planning and machine specification creation for body tooling and equipment
• Manage machine and equipment procurement, installation, and trial
• Perform quality analysis, adjustment, and improvement on new equipment
• Support tooling modification and installation projects, including weekend/holiday/shutdown work
• Lead project management, schedule control, and budget control/cost reduction
• Provide manufacturing support and process tracking during launch
