Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Design Engineer with at least 2 years of professional engineering experience to join the Test Solutions Engineering Center. This on-site role focuses on hardware design, interconnects, and test systems for weapon system products.

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance are required. The position offers hands-on multi-discipline collaboration and opportunities to work with cutting-edge electronics and production test equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical engineering design including troubleshooting, analysis and test.
• Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (DoD Secret).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and handle several engineering tasks concurrently.
• Develop test systems, interfaces, cabling, drawings and schematics.
• Troubleshoot hardware and test equipment instrumentation in Factory Test Platform solutions.
• Engage with Engineering, Operations PTEs, and program personnel to support factory readiness.
• Support hardware and electrical product requirements development.
