Job summary

The Boeing Company in El Segundo, California invites applications for an Associate or Experienced Procurement Agent. You will participate in demand and supply analysis, contract formation, and supplier negotiations to support programs in Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS). Ideal candidates have 1+ year in supplier management and contract work, and a bachelor’s degree or higher.

This 100% onsite role requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• More than 1 year of supplier management or supply chain management experience.
• More than 1 year of drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
• More than 1 year of leading proposals, contract terms development, and negotiation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Associate Level 2: Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
• Associate Level 2: Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
• Associate Level 2: Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
• Associate Level 2: Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
• Associate Level 2: Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate supplier performance.
• Experienced Level 3: Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
• Experienced Level 3: Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
• Experienced Level 3: Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
• Experienced Level 3: Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
• Experienced Level 3: Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
• Experienced Level 3: Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
