Boeing is seeking an Experienced Procurement Agent to join the Executive Transport team and support supply chain activities across multiple programs. The role involves oversight of supplier performance, strategic negotiations, and developing contractual solutions in a hybrid work setting.

Candidates should have 5+ years in supplier management or procurement, a Bachelor's degree (advanced degrees preferred), and be eligible for a U.S. security clearance. Multiple U.S. locations are available.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provides oversight and management of supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and financial performance.
• Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.
• Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.
• Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.
• Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.
• Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
• Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
• More than 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
• More than 5 years of experience in Contracts & Pricing and/or Supplier Management Procurement.
• More than 5 years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.
• More than 5 years of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials Firm Fixed Price Cost Plus type Government contracts etc.
• More than 5 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
• More than 5 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
• More than 5 years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).

Typical Education/Experience:

• Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience.
• Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
