Job summary

AEP in Columbus, OH is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join the Supply Chain and Procurement team. The role supports sourcing, supplier analysis, contract negotiations, spend analytics, and procurement reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field and 3+ years of procurement and/or customer service experience. This is a 2-year contract with potential to convert, onsite work, and benefits including PTO, medical, dental,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years relevant experience.
• 3+ years procurement and/or customer service experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with suppliers, stakeholders, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Fleet Operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes spend, pricing, suppliers, contracts, and performance metrics.
• Conducts market and supplier research.
• Supports sourcing strategy and contract negotiations.
• Performs bid and cost analysis.
• Builds pricing/TCO models and reports.
• Communicates analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Supports procurement projects and process improvements.
