RFA Engineering is seeking a Process Engineer to join our engineering team onsite at a world-class facility in Peoria, IL. You will develop and manage product validation and development testing activities, create test plans, and coordinate prototype hardware for testing.

You will analyze test data, assess performance, reliability, and durability, and communicate conclusions to stakeholders. The role requires collaboration with design, validation, manufacturing, and supplier teams and travel up

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial/Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, industrial equipment, or production environments.
• Willing to travel up to 25% (on-site roles).

Responsibilities

• Develop, conduct, analyze, and manage product validation and development testing activities.
• Create test plans and procedures for mechanical systems, components, and equipment.
• Coordinate design and procurement of prototype hardware for testing.
• Set up test equipment and data acquisition for laboratory, bench, and field testing.
• Analyze test data and evaluate product performance, reliability, and durability.
• Perform vibration, durability, performance, reliability, and structural testing.
• Report test results and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Travel to customer, supplier, lab, proving ground, or field locations up to 25%.
