Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living in Ashburn, VA, is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents with communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing disorders onsite in our community.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document progress, and educate residents and families. A Virginia SLP license and a passion for resident-centered care are required.

Formación

• Current Speech-Language Pathology license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with geriatric populations preferred but not required.
• Passion for providing high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on treatment strategies and communication techniques.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory and organizational guidelines.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support resident-centered care.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in care planning and team meetings.
