Trueline in Shreveport, LA, is seeking a Preconstruction Services Coordinator / Estimator to join the onsite team. This entry-to-mid level role offers exposure to estimating, project planning, subcontractor coordination, and field operations, with a path to grow within a stable, family-owned contractor.

Responsibilities include supporting preconstruction, site visits, takeoffs, bid packages, scheduling, and handoffs to field operations, plus collaboration with project managers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Construction takeoff experience through employment, internships, co-ops, or coursework.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction processes for commercial projects.
• Conduct pre-bid site visits and gather scope information.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with cost estimates.
• Solicit pricing from subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
• Coordinate subcontractor walkthroughs and pre-bid meetings.
• Prepare proposals, bid packages, and supporting documents.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and logistics.
• Maintain organized project records and bid documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, field leaders, subcontractors, and suppliers.
