CSS Metal Shaped Solutions is seeking an experienced Tool & Die professional to service and sustain production tooling in-press, perform pre-run maintenance, and fabricate tooling and fixtures as directed. You will train apprentices, document Tool History, and escalate maintenance needs to supervision.

The role requires a strong background in progressive stamping tooling and Lean practices. Relocation to Connecticut is provided; onsite full-time role with travel-related support as needed.

Competenze

• Journeyman certification or 5+ years equivalent experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T in production.
• Knowledge of ISO quality systems and SPC in manufacturing.

Mansioni

• Service and sustain production tooling in-press; complete pre-run maintenance to confirm production readiness.
• Fabricate tooling, components, fixtures, and gauges as directed by leadership or a Senior Tool & Diemaker.
• Train and mentor apprentices; document Tool History and Set-up information accurately.
• Escalate required Machine Maintenance and Tool Maintenance to your Supervisor.
• Support standardization of tooling component inventory; assist with tooling project planning and execution.
• Assist with set-up challenges and in-run performance issues; support Lean initiatives.
