Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Cleveland, OH is hiring a Manual Machinist, Gear Cutter, Hobbing Technician. The position is fully onsite with starting pay between $25.00 and $33.00 per hour, dependent on experience. You will read blueprints, set up gear hobbing operations, and perform inspections to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years' manufacturing experience.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written directions.
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
• Ability to read measuring devices including micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate gear hobbing, shaping, and broaching machines per schedule and quality standards.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Select and adjust cutting tools and machine settings for tolerances.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections with precision instruments.
• Maintain accurate production records and material traceability.
