Equiliem is seeking an Electronics Assembler II in Madison, AL for precision electronic and mechanical assembly, including circuit boards, soldering, SMT, and wire harness construction. You will interpret drawings and work instructions while using microscopes and specialized tools to assemble, test, and inspect components.

The role requires hands-on soldering/SMT experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site Mon-Thu, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a contract ending March 1,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant electronic or mechanical assembly experience.
• Hands‑on experience with soldering, SMT assembly, or wire harness construction.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, and detailed work instructions.
• Experience using microscopes for precision assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise, repetitive tasks.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Madison, Alabama, Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Ability to commit to the contract period ending March 1, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components, including circuit boards, modules, panels, frames, cables, and subassemblies.
• Interpret and follow engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and manufacturing work instructions.
• Perform soldering, SMT assembly, wire harness construction, and other precision assembly tasks.
• Use microscopes, hand tools, power tools, jigs, and specialized manufacturing equipment.
• Perform continuity checks and basic functional testing on assemblies and subassemblies.
• Inspect completed work to verify compliance with quality standards and manufacturing specifications.
• Disassemble, modify, repair, rework, and reassemble electronic and mechanical components as needed.
• Support prototype assembly, modifications, and testing activities.
• Follow established safety, quality, ESD, and foreign object debris (FOD) prevention procedures.
