Job summary

University of Central Arkansas seeks a Pre- BSN Student Coordinator to guide Pre-Nursing students through advising, degree planning, and admissions processes. You will collaborate with Nursing leadership to ensure timely progression and accuracy of transfer credits and prerequisites.

The role emphasizes counseling, program coordination, and data-informed planning to support student success within the School of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in student affairs, education, counseling, or related field.
• Experience in counseling and advising or related field.
• Ability to work with diverse student populations and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Counsel Pre-Nursing students from orientation through graduation.
• Educate Pre-Nursing BSN students on curriculum, registration, and policies.
• Onboard transfer students and verify transfer credits and transcripts.
• Collaborate with Nursing School to aid BSN student progression.
• Develop and update degree plans and monitor progression.
• Provide regular updates to School of Nursing staff and participate in committees.
