Job summary

Smart State Inc. in New Jersey is actively seeking a PPC Specialist to support the PPC Manager in day-to-day execution across paid search and related platforms.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail and a passion for performance marketing within a regulated iGaming environment. You will help launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns, conduct keyword and audience research, and assist with testing and reporting to drive ROAS and lower CPA.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in PPC, SEM, paid social, digital marketing or campaign coordination.
• Familiarity with Google Ads and basic performance marketing concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data, spreadsheets and reporting tools.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stay organized while supporting multiple campaigns and priorities.
• Industry experience in iGaming or Gaming is a plus.
• Foundational understanding of Paid Social and Display platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in launching, monitoring, and optimizing paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Bing, Meta, and other platforms.
• Support keyword research, audience research, and competitive analysis to improve performance.
• Track campaign metrics and identify opportunities to improve CPA, CTR, CVR, ROAS.
• Prepare performance reports and summarize key findings for the PPC Manager.
• Support A/B testing of ad copy, creative, landing pages, and audience targeting.
• Collaborate with creative, content, analytics, and product teams to support execution.
• Ensure campaigns follow advertising, brand, and responsible gaming guidelines.
• Assist with budget pacing, spend tracking, and routine campaign maintenance.
