Job summary

BranCore Technologies in Richmond, VA is seeking a PowerBuilder/.NET developer to serve as backup support for a banking application. The role involves translating requirements into database and program solutions, with on-site work three days per week (Tue, Wed, Thurs) and a 12-month contract.

The candidate should work independently, yet collaboratively, and document all work with formal turnover to client staff.

Qualifications

PowerBuilder/Infomaker required.
Asp.net/MVC/Web forms/Blazor required.
Visual Studio required.
HTML, CSS, JavaScript required.
WEB API Maintenance (C#, EF, LINQ) required.
Oracle/SQL Server required.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction and as a team.
Highly motivated and self-directed required.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 desired.
Experience with Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server desired.
Client Server (EXE) application maintenance (C#/VB.NET, EF, Oracle) desired.

Responsibilities

Performs complex system administration, maintenance and support for production systems.
Develops and maintains technical documentation.
Responds to system alerts and user events; makes recommendations; and documents findings.
Designs, develops, modifies, testing, debugging, and implementing programs and systems.
Develops and maintains standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
Performs related work as required.
