Job summary

Dragline Service Specialties is seeking an experienced Power Plant Technician for our New Town, ND site. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems on heavy equipment and power generation systems, following stringent safety and quality standards.

You will conduct monthly inspections, prepare cost-effective estimates, and ensure parts orders are accurate. Travel may be required for field service across locations, with a focus on safely operating all company products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of previous heavy equipment and/or power plant experience.
• Direct experience with Caterpillar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical systems ranging from low/medium/high.
• Perform monthly inspections of power generation equipment per manufacturer requirements.
• Visually inspect equipment and use diagnostic equipment to identify problems or malfunctions.
• Repair or replace components on engines, hydraulic systems, brake systems, electrical systems, on-board diagnostic systems, air systems, fuel systems, transmissions and related power train systems.
• Review data to develop detailed, cost-effective job estimates and parts orders.
• Safely operate all Energy Solutions products.
