Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in Data Engineering or BI, possess an Active Secret clearance and IAT Level II, and are proficient with Power BI, SQL, and Azure Data Factory.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years hands‑on Data Engineering, BI, or BI/Data Reporting experience.
• Active Secret clearance.
• IAT Level II certification.
• Strong hands‑on Power BI experience building reports and dashboards.
• Experience with SQL databases and data modeling for reporting.
• Understanding ETL/data transformation, pipelines, and data staging.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Translate business requirements into meaningful data visualizations and reporting products.
• Work with transformed enterprise datasets to develop reporting solutions.
• Partner with backend data engineers to ensure data is available, structured, and optimized for reporting.
• Understand data pipelines, sources, transformations, staging, and repositories supporting reporting.
• Develop SQL queries and work with SQL databases to prepare data for reporting.
• Identify data quality issues and gaps impacting reporting accuracy.
• Support data ingestion and transformation activities, including Azure Data Factory.
• Create dashboards and reports that make complex data accessible to stakeholders.
• Optimize reports, data models, queries, and visualizations for enterprise use.
• Collaborate on data requirements, pipeline dependencies, and reporting architecture.
