Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking an Onsite POS Lead to manage point-of-sale operations at events and daily duties. The role focuses on ensuring devices are functional, staff are trained, and guests receive exceptional service.

This part-time position offers an hourly rate of $14.00–$19.25, with responsibilities including cash handling, equipment checks, and on-site troubleshooting to minimize service interruptions while supporting Spectrum Catering and Concessions at venues across the United States.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in POS operations or hospitality/event operations.
• Understanding of cash handling procedures and reconciliation.
• Experience troubleshooting POS systems or payment platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site resource for POS and ID scanning systems.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest questions.
• Train and support cashiers on POS systems and ID scanning.
• Monitor cashier performance and ensure accurate transactions.
• Troubleshoot payment issues and hardware malfunctions to minimize interruptions.
• Assist with opening/closing, cash counts, and reconciliation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier stations.
• Verify WiFi connectivity, configure devices, and stock stations.
