Job summary

Energy Northwest is seeking a multi-discipline Facilities Technician to support operation, maintenance, and minor construction across buildings, shops, and equipment in Richland, WA. Roles include HVAC, locksmith, chemical operator, fire systems, electrician, plumber, carpenter, automotive mechanic and heavy equipment operator.

Requires a high school diploma or GED with four years of related technical maintenance, or two years’ experience plus an Associate’s degree or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED and four years of applicable technical maintenance experience.
• Or two years of related experience and an Associate’s degree or two-year trade school or military equivalent.
• Must maintain valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform operation, maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment and building systems.
• Maintain Doors, locks, and windows as Locksmith duties require.
• Conduct roads, grounds, and building work involving pesticides, paints, and chemicals.
• Operate and maintain building fire protection systems.
• Repair and maintain electrical distribution systems including substations and generators.
• Maintain plumbing fixtures and water systems.
• Perform repair and construction of walls, mud, tape, texture and paint.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles, heavy equipment and generators.
• Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, graders, loaders, trucks, and boom trucks.
