Energy Northwest in Richland, WA, is seeking a skilled mechanical maintenance technician for a large nuclear generating plant. You will install, test, and repair pumps, valves, and related equipment onsite, following strict safety and quality standards.

The role requires aJourneyman level with apprenticeship or equivalent training and includes opportunities for annual incentive compensation, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Onsite work only in a high-stakes energy facility.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman requires 4 years of applicable experience via apprenticeship or 2-year trade school/ military training plus 3 years of experience.
• Experience in maintenance of pumps, valves, engines, or HVAC units in power facilities.
• Documentation of apprenticeship, trade school, experience and training.
• This is a bargaining unit position; hourly pay rate is $66.09.

Responsabilidades

• Install, troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect, repair, and test rotating equipment (pumps, fans, gearboxes).
• Install, troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect, repair, and test valves, piping, valve operators, tanks, etc.
• Perform rigging duties and crane operation.
• Conduct specialized maintenance: welding, machining, HVAC, reactor vessel, valve operators, rotating equipment, diesel engines, fire protection.
• Decontaminate, clean, and overhaul contaminated tools and equipment.
• Perform other tasks as required.
