Job summary

Brose in Warren, MI is seeking a results-driven production/quality leader to oversee plant operations onsite at the Jefferson plant. The role requires 2+ years in quality or production engineering and 3 years of team leadership to drive efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, coordinate across manufacturing, engineering, planning and R&D, and ensure safety and quality standards are met in a fast-paced automotive setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years in a quality or production engineering role, plus 3 years leading a team.
• Project management and implementation of new products in modern manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of production planning and control and strong leadership / interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates activities of industrial organization to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations.
• Coordinates activities of divisions such as manufacturing, engineering, planning, and R&D to improve operational efficiency.
• Reviews production costs and product quality, and adjusts production and inventory control programs.
• Develops and implements budgets, policies, and goals for the organization.
• Oversees safety and environmental procedures and promotes a safe working environment.
