Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated in Argo Plant, Bedford Park, IL seeks a Maintenance Unit Manager to lead maintenance and reliability programs, ensuring safe operations and asset integrity. You will plan, schedule, and optimize maintenance activities while collaborating with Operations, Reliability, Procurement, and Engineering.

The role emphasizes budget management, vendor oversight, and continuous improvement to meet safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Reliability preferred.
CMRP certification is desirable.
5+ years in maintenance and reliability in a manufacturing environment.
Experience leading a maintenance department for utilities-specific equipment (steam turbine generators, IR and Joy air compressors, gas boiler systems).
Knowledge of SAP for maintenance and budgeting is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance and reliability activities within the unit.
Ensure safe operations, asset integrity, and optimal equipment performance.
Manage short- and long-term maintenance planning and scheduling.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage spare parts inventory.
Collaborate with Operations, Reliability, Procurement, and Engineering.
Budget management and contractor oversight; vendor selection per approved lists.
Manage MOC processes and root cause problem elimination sessions.
Use SAP, Prometheus, and other maintenance systems to support activities.
