Job summary

Ingredion's Argo Plant in Bedford Park, IL is seeking a Maintenance Unit Manager to lead maintenance and reliability, ensuring safe operations, asset integrity, and optimal equipment performance.

You will develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with Operations, Reliability, Procurement, and Engineering to optimize parts inventory and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or reliability preferred.
• CMRP certification desirable.
• 5+ years in maintenance and reliability.
• Experience managing a maintenance department in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Establish safe work practices and environmental compliance.
• Lead short- and long-term maintenance planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement.
• Analyze KPIs to identify deviations and initiate corrective actions.
• Manage asset risk with reliability team and ensure condition-based monitoring.
• Develop and manage unit and plant maintenance budget.
• Collaborate with procurement, reliability and engineering for spare parts inventory.
• Oversee safety and quality with contractor leaders and site leaders.
• Develop improvements to maintenance management practices to control costs.
• Use SAP, Prometheus and other maintenance systems to support activities.
• Lead root cause problem elimination sessions.
• Coordinate workload and manpower with contractor foremen.
