Georgia-Pacific LLC in Akron, OH is seeking an HR Business Partner to collaborate with plant leaders and managers on people strategies at our onsite facility.

You will align HR goals to site objectives, support staffing and talent development, and lead initiatives to drive business results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years in an HRBP, HR Generalist or HR Manager role.
• Experience partnering with plant leadership to drive initiatives.
• Experience developing and partnering with front line supervisors.
• Experience analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to leaders.
• Knowledge of employment laws and practices.

Responsibilities

• Build effective working relationships across functions and on-site teams.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on HR matters at the site level.
• Align HR goals to site business goals and monitor progress.
• Partner with operations, commercial, and maintenance leaders for staffing.
• Support supervisors and leaders in implementing compensation philosophy.
• Input and tools for succession planning and high-potential development.
• Promote Principle Based Management understanding at the site.
• Manage headcount reporting, timekeeping, and HR systems.
