Job summary
ERock in Midland, TX seeks a Plant Engineer to support operations and maintenance at its power facility. You will act as the on-site technical lead, monitoring performance, analyzing data, and driving reliability improvements across the plant.
The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering degree and 3–7 years’ experience in power generation or industrial operations, with DCS/HMI and data analysis skills. Travel to support site ops may be needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
- 3–7 years of experience in power generation or industrial ops.
- Strong understanding of plant systems and workflows.
- Experience with DCS/HMI and plant monitoring systems.
- Experience with data analysis, troubleshooting, and RCA.
- Strong communication, technical, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel to support site ops.
Responsibilities
- Monitor plant performance, availability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Identify equipment issues and drive corrective actions.
- Perform root cause analyses of failures and events.
- Support predictive and condition-based maintenance initiatives.
- Provide engineering support for troubleshooting and optimization.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.
