Job summary

Lab37 Robotics in Pittsburgh is seeking a Logistics and Inventory Specialist to manage inbound and outbound shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and prep components for builds.

You will coordinate with engineering and production, use BOMs to verify assemblies, issue POs, and drive improvements in logistics processes. This role is onsite in Pittsburgh with a base salary between $80,000 and $100,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or inventory control.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking software and BOM management.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks or similar equipment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound shipments, labeling, documentation, and carrier coordination.
• Receive materials, inspect deliveries, and update inventory records.
• Maintain an organized inventory system and kit components for builds.
• Cross-reference BOMs against inventory to identify 'Clear to Build' assemblies.
• Issue POs based on inventory needs and project requirements.
• Track open orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to forecast material needs and prevent shortages.
• Resolve discrepancies and support improvements in inventory systems and logistics processes.
