Job summary

Lab37 Robotics in Pittsburgh is seeking a Logistics and Inventory Specialist to manage the flow of materials through our production and shipping pipelines. This role maintains accurate inventory, handles inbound and outbound shipments, and ensures components are ready for assembly builds.

You will collaborate with engineering and production to forecast material needs, resolve discrepancies with vendors, and contribute to ongoing improvements of inventory systems and logistics processes.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in logistics, shipping/receiving, warehouse management, or inventory control.
• Experience with inventory tracking software and BOM management.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound shipments including labeling and carrier coordination.
• Receive materials, inspect deliveries, and update inventory records.
• Maintain organized inventory system; pull and kit components for builds.
• Cross-reference BOMs against inventory to identify assemblies as Clear to Build.
• Issue POs based on inventory needs and project requirements.
• Track open orders and follow up with vendors for timely delivery.
• Forecast material needs with engineering/production to prevent shortages.
• Resolve discrepancies in orders, inventory, and shipments with vendors and internal teams.
• Support improvements to inventory systems and logistics processes.
