Job summary

Premise Health in Detroit, MI is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist to provide care to client employees in our Health Center. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care and promote prevention and wellness.

The role requires state licensure, CPR certification, and at least three years of outpatient experience; we offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. This is an on-site position at our Detroit Health Center.

Qualifications

• All state licenses/certifications to practice.
• Current board certificate (if applicable).
• Degree from accredited Physical/Occupational Therapy School.
• CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer) certification must include hands-on evaluation.
• At least three years’ experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Health Center staff to promote health and wellness for onsite employees and dependents.
• Assess and develop treatment plans using current PT research and patient values.
• Provide direct access to PT services and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Document and report to onsite and referral sources; participate in Health Center meetings.
• Engage in continuing competence activities such as peer review and workshops.
• Work with client stakeholders to promote employee safety and ergonomics.
• Develop injury prevention and health promotion programs for onsite employees.
• Educate employees on proper body mechanics and ergonomics.
