Job summary

UNC Health in North Carolina is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to assess and treat patients. The role involves identifying, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity, while mentoring Therapists, Assistants, and Students.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in CQI activities, and help deliver excellent customer service. Per diem schedule with onsite work and daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Active NC Physical Therapy license or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment.
• Perform initial evaluation and develop rehabilitation plan.
• Mentor Therapists, Assistants, Technicians, and Students; collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Ensure safe patient handling and use of equipment.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited School of Physical Therapy
