American Electric Power Co. is seeking a Physical Security Project Manager Associate to execute small security projects with oversight. You will manage scheduling, pricing, and technical performance, ensuring high-quality deliverables while optimizing cost and delivery.

Travel may be required; 70% onsite, 30% in the field, not remote. You will coordinate with leadership, customers, suppliers, and industry peers, provide clear written reports, and promote continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, CS, Construction, or related field.
• 2+ years in project management, with experience in estimating or controls preferred.
• Certifications PMP/PSM/CSM preferred.
• Travel may be required.

Aufgaben

• Governance, alignment, assurance, management, integration, optimization, tracking finances, and delivery.
• Estimate, budget, and control project cost for routine projects; identify and manage risk.
• Build and coach the project team; communicate status and lead planning meetings.
• Provide written reports and training to improve design, systems, procedures, schedules, and costs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including internal/external customers, team members, suppliers, contractors, vendors.
