Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician II to support the Pharmacy and Cancer Center.

Responsibilities include sterile IV compounding, chemotherapy medication handling, restocking, packaging, and related clerical duties. The role reports to the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor and requires an active State Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification, with two years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician State License required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) required.
• Two years of related work experience required; chemotherapy trained or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill Cancer Center, Surgery, Recovery Room, or other orders for supplies, standard medications, etc.
• Order chemotherapy medications and related supplies.
• Deliver patient medications, standard stock, and/or other pharmaceutical items to patient units or clinics.
• Maintain prescribed usage, stocking, control, or other detailed records; restock and load medications into ADM units as needed.
• Prepare IV solutions utilizing aseptic techniques and following USP 797 and 800 standards, including chemotherapy.
• Package bulk medications or supplies into the required form for dispensing and restock storage areas.
