Blink Health in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Pharmacy Prior Authorization Specialist to join our onsite team. You will assist providers, identify the correct forms, coordinate with prescribers, and track the status of requests to ensure timely approvals for patients.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced health-tech environment focused on making medications affordable for Americans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s preferred.
• Customer service or inbound call center experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and good judgment.
• Patient-focused mindset and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in initiating new prior authorization requests to providers.
• Identify the correct prior authorization form for the patient’s insurer.
• Coordinate with prescribers and medical offices to translate information onto forms.
• Follow up with offices to track status of requests.
• Communicate authorization statuses to patients and providers.
• Coordinate with offices to handle Appeals.
• Respond to internal questions about prior authorization requests.
