Optum in Pine Brook, NJ, is hiring for a full-time onsite Pharmacy Order Fulfillment role. You will pick, pack, and process outgoing pharmacy orders, adhering to state regulations and company policies. The position requires lifting and standing for long shifts, with a 6:00 AM start time and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Beginner level proficiency with Windows PC applications and basic software.
• Ability to lift 20–45 lbs regularly.
• Able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• On-site at 19 Chapin Rd D8, Pine Brook, NJ 07058, Monday–Friday 6AM–2:30PM EST.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and process outgoing pharmacy orders in accordance with established procedures and local State Board of Pharmacy.
• Adhere to policies and procedures pertaining to packing medication and supplies, ensuring the integrity of the product for patients.
• Perform various warehouse functions such as emptying trash, assembling boxes, cleaning work area, processing and cleaning returned equipment, etc.
• May assist with inventory duties, including proper storage and restocking of medication and supplies, receiving, and unpacking vendor shipments, and performing counts of physical inventory.
• May support administrative tasks for Pharmacy, such as scanning documents.
• Create or fix shipping labels as needed and bring packages to shipping, mail, and courier as needed.
• Communicate with the Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacy Supervisor regarding all patient questions and/or issues.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and UHG Confidentiality and Code of Conduct.
