Job summary

Optum Home Delivery in Pine Brook, New Jersey, seeks a dedicated Pharmacist to support accurate dispensing of prescription medications while ensuring regulatory compliance. You will oversee pharmacy technicians and clerks, manage workload, and maintain high standards of accuracy and safety.

The role requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, an active NJ Pharmacist license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on the Sunday–Thursday schedule with an evening shift.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in good standing in state of New Jersey.
• Proven ability to lift 30 pounds.
• Willing to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify and accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Oversees the activities of pharmacy technicians and pharmacy clerks.
• Organizes workload, sets priorities, completes assignments in a timely manner and utilizes resources appropriately while complying with department program standards.
• Performs all duties and functions in compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
