UPMC is seeking an Intermediate PC Consultant to join the team onsite. You will provide end-user computing support across desktop hardware, applications, and data communications, and work on projects to improve efficiency and user experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with relocations, delivering second-level support, documenting resolutions, and maintaining timely communications. A rotation for standby coverage requires around-the-clock availability.

Formación

• Typically 2+ years of desktop support experience.
• Able to report to multiple UPMC facilities.
• Proficient in standard/advanced IT procedures and protocols.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and move devices across sites.
• Standby rotation requires 24/7 availability.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day service to ISD client community, patients, families and visitors while protecting data confidentiality.
• Assist with relocating standard desktop computers and devices within the end-user community as directed by leadership.
• Provide second-level support for requests escalated by the ISD Help Desk and coordinate with personnel and vendors to resolve issues; communicate status until resolved.
• Independently resolve issues using IT knowledge and resources.
• Document PC Support services, update project management and time-tracking tools.
• Manage time, tickets, and workload under leadership direction.
• Communicate clearly and effectively to build relationships and complete tasks and projects.
• Pursue continuous self-study and training, seeking feedback to improve.
