Job summary

Eldon C. Stutsman, Inc. is hiring a Payroll Specialist to administer and process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for multiple FEINs, on site at the Hills, Iowa location. You will be the main point of contact for all payroll and timekeeping inquiries and assist HR with audits and filings.

Responsibilities include timecard accuracy, leave balances, payroll reporting, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of payroll experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, finance, business or related field.
• 3–5 years payroll processing experience or equivalent.
• Simultaneous payroll processing experience for multiple FEINs preferred.
• Advanced computer skills including data entry and payroll systems.
• Ability to explain base pay, taxes and overtime clearly.
• Maintain confidentiality of HR files and records.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Act as main point of contact for all timekeeping inquiries.
• Audit and balance timecards across multiple FEINs.
• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll runs.
• Prepare deductions and payment documentation in HRIS.
• Assist with internal audits and HR team support.
• Respond to employee pay inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate and audit payroll reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Support year-end payroll activities and reporting.
