Job summary

InDyne is seeking an Electronics/Engineering Technician to support GPS range instrumentation at Patuxent River, MD. You will perform maintenance, wiring, and installation to MILSPEC and IPC standards, with opportunities for hands-on fabrication and data analysis.

The role requires 5 years of relevant experience, IPC certifications, and the ability to obtain DoD clearance. Expect an onsite, full-time schedule with occasional travel for DoD testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AA/AS in Engineering/Electronics or related coursework preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience, with 4 years wiring and harness fabrication.
• IPC-J-STD-001 or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certifications required or preferred.
• Ability to interpret drawings and SOPs; valid driver’s license; ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate with minimal oversight, ensuring range instrumentation integrity during flight operations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on GPS tracking systems and related hardware.
• Install GPS hardware, antennas, and cabling to MILSPEC/NAVAIR IPC standards.
• Provide pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight range support for DoD testing.
• Record mission data, perform data extraction, and verify TSPI analyses.
• Collaborate on wire harness fabrication and testing of next‑gen GPS receivers.
• Support travel up to 25% for domestic DoD range sites and shipboard detachments.
