Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a 100% onsite Records Scanner in South Burlington, Vermont. Hours can be between 6am and 6pm after the probationary period, with full-time expectations and a focus on accurate document handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a business office setting is preferred.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Experience in patient financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan documents into the electronic document management system.
• Examine pages and verify patient identification on each page.
• Appropriately batch documents and index records.
• Maintain scanning equipment.
• Handle correspondence, retrieve medical records, and mail claims as directed.
