Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a Radiology Medical Assistant II to support Radiologic Technologists in patient exams and clerical tasks. You will help manage workflow, answer phones, stock rooms, and assist patients to exam areas at two Burlington locations.

Responsibilities include scheduling exams, preparing for audits, and training new medical assistants. Local shifts rotate between 1 South Prospect Street, Burlington, and UVM Medical Center main campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; LNA or comparable medical experience preferred.
• Previous hospital or health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiologic Technologists during patient exams and manage workflow.
• Answer phones, stock rooms, and transport patients between areas.
• Schedule and process exams; prepare for regulatory and hospital audits; use department computer systems.
