Job summary

Providence is seeking a Patient Admissions Coordinator (On Call, Day, Onsite) to support on-site registration, collect demographics and insurance details, and manage financial clearance while ensuring compliant documentation. Experience in patient access, insurance eligibility, and medical terminology is preferred, with Epic Applications knowledge beneficial for system workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare or business administration.
• 3 years of experience within Patient Access of Business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years of Utilization of medical terminology in job setting.
• Knowledge in medical billing codes.
• 1 year of Knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Complete financial clearance functions and collect patient demographics, insurance information, and liability as applicable.
• Greet patients professionally and adhere to regulatory requirements to ensure accurate documentation.
