Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Patient Admissions Coordinator to support on-site registration and arrival processes for both scheduled and unscheduled visits, under supervision by the PAS team. You’ll collect demographics, insurance details, and patient liability at service time.

Under the Revenue Cycle Business Services umbrella, you’ll perform financial clearance duties and ensure accurate data capture while collaborating with clinical staff to support smooth patient flow and timely

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
• 3 years Experience within Patient Access of Business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years Utilization of medical terminology in job setting.
• Knowledge in medical billing codes.
• 1 year Knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Complete registration with accurate demographic and insurance information and collect patient liability if known.
• Perform financial clearance functions on assigned scheduled accounts.
